Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for high school seniors in the Greater Clear Lake Area in Texas. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must reside in Clear Creek ISD, Alvin ISD, Deer Park ISD, Pasadena ISD, Dickinson ISD, LaPorte ISD, or Pearland ISD. Applicants may also be home school or parochial students who reside within one of these districts. If attending high school, applicants must have an unweighted 3.0 GPA or higher. If home schooled, applicants must submit a notarized home-schooled grade transcript signed by parent or guardian. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or entering college freshmen at the time of payment and be US citizens. Applicants may not be employees of or dependents of an employee of Ron Carter Clear Lake. Scholarships will be awarded based on academic achievement, character, leadership, service, and adult recommendations.
