This scholarship is for high school graduates and GED recipients who are North Carolina residents. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be US citizens; have a minimum 2.5 GPA or attained a score of 3,000 on the GED; and enrolled in an associate degree, diploma, or certificate program. Applicants must demonstrate the membership philosophy of credit unions ("People Helping People"), leadership, excellence of character, integrity, and community involvement. Preference may be given to students with limited financial aid from other programs.
