This scholarship is for Texas high school seniors from participating public high schools whose artwork was judged by School Art Committee judges in a participating school district show, or high school seniors from participating public high schools who were selected to compete in the Quick Draw Competition. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be US citizens and Texas residents, and plan to attend a Texas college/university. Applicants must rank in the top quarter of their graduating class, demonstrate financial need, and score at least a 1350 on the SAT or at least a 19 on the ACT. Applicants must also meet criteria of citizenship, character, residence, academic standing, college/university enrollment plans, and economic need, in addition to special eligibility requirements based on applicants' participation in the School Art Program.
