This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors in Ventura County, California, who plan to pursue studies that will lead to a career as a science teacher. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must plan to attend a four-year college or university and plan to major in teaching with a focus on science education at the elementary or high school level or major in chemistry, physics, biology, or geology. Applicants must have minimum 3.5 GPA and demonstrate financial need.
