This scholarship is for undergraduate students attending a four-year college or university whose parents currently are or were formerly employed at an Asian-owned or Asian cuisine restaurant. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must demonstrate financial need and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicants must participate in community advocacy and social justice work on behalf of Asian-American, immigrant, gay and lesbian, and/or other progressive causes. Selection will be based on personal strengths, academic achievement, potential to succeed, and community involvement.
