Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for students of Latino descent (1st, 2nd, or 3rd generation) who are high school graduates, graduating seniors, or GED recipients from a school located in any of the following Illinois counties: Sangamon, Cass, Douglas, Champaign, Macon, McLean, or Morgan. To qualify for this scholarship, either the applicants, their parents, or grandparents must have been born outside the United States. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and enroll as full-time students in the coming fall at an accredited community college or four-year college or university. Applicants must be no older than 20 years of age by September 1st of the coming school year.
