Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for residents of Louisiana who are or will be majoring in an insurance-related field at a Louisiana university, college, or community college. This scholarship will be awarded based upon the following: participation in extracurricular activities, community, and public service opportunities; evidence of leadership potential; ability to make satisfactory academic progress toward a degree or major in an academic discipline which relates to the insurance industry; grade point average and ACT or SAT scores; quality and depth of essay; and quality of academic and personal recommendations.
