Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for high school seniors in who live in San Diego County, California. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must write an essay on the topic, "why the national debt matters to young people," in the form of a letter to President Obama, Speaker of the House John Boehner, and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. Applicants must submit their letter by November 21, 2012. Twenty-five students will be selected as finalists and will then move on to the next stage.
