This scholarship is for high school seniors or home-schooled students who reside in the area serviced by Mt. Abram High School in Strong, Maine. Selection is made in a collaborative effort between the Guidance Office (or parent in the case of home-schooled applicants) and Stratton Lumber Company. Individuals are rated on their academic achievement, likelihood to succeed, community service, extracurricular activities, financial need, and commitment to long-term viable growth of the forest products industry. The deadline for this scholarship is two weeks prior to high school graduation.
