This scholarship is for Louisiana residents who are enrolling full-time as first-time freshmen by the first semester following the first anniversary of high school graduation. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a minimum high school GPA of 2.5, have 17.5 core units, have a minimum ACT score of 20 (or a 1390 SAT three-score equivalent), and be US citizens or permanent residents. Homeschooled students are eligible with an ACT/SAT score of 22. Louisiana residents graduating from an eligible out-of-state or -country high school are eligible with an ACT/SAT score of 23. This scholarship pays for tuition and fees at an approved Louisiana college or university. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must complete and file the FAFSA by the deadline date.
