Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for Louisiana residents who are enrolling full-time as first-time freshmen by the first semester following the first anniversary of high school graduation. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a minimum high school GPA of 3.0, have 17.5 core units, have a minimum ACT score of 23 (or a 1600 SAT three-score equivalent), and be US citizens or permanent residents. Homeschooled students are eligible with an ACT/SAT score of 24. Louisiana residents graduating from an eligible out-of-state or -country high school are eligible with an ACT/SAT score of 26. This scholarship pays for tuition and fees at an approved Louisiana public college or university plus an annual stipend of $400. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must complete and file the FAFSA by the deadline date.
