Texas PTA Scholarship

Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors attending high schools in Texas. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in a high school with a local PTA/PTSA in good standing with Texas PTA. Applicants must be members of that same PTA/PTSA and their names must be on the current PTA membership list and recorded in the Texas PTA office. Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university or a technical institute in the summer or fall semester immediately following high school graduation. Applicants cannot have an immediate family member on the Texas PTA Board of Directors, staff or as an Area PTA president. The scholarships are intended to support students who are focused on achieving career goals throughout higher education and will be awarded based on service and participation in school activities, community involvement, and scholastic merit.
