This scholarship is for graduates of Gaston County High Schools in North Carolina, and for residents of Gaston County for at least two years with a GED certification. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must demonstrate a strong interest in the professional field of construction or related trades and professions. Planned course of study may include either four-year school in architecture and engineering or community college/technical school courses in such areas as civil technology, HVAC, and welding.
