Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for high school seniors from Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska or Leelanau County, Michigan. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be enrolled at the Career Tech Center. Applicants must be planning to attend college or other types of technical training following high school or entering directly into the work force. Applicants must also have a B or higher grade for the first semester of the CTC program; have a B or higher grade for the academic portion of their CTC program (i.e., ELA, Geometry, etc.); and have earned full credit for the first semester of the 2012-2013 school year. Applicants must have attended CTC for the full 2012-2013 school-year in one of the following programs: Agriscience, Auto Body Repair, Automotive Technology, Building Trades SW, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Electrical Occupations, Precision Machining Technology, Power Equipment Technology, Skilled Trades, Visual Imaging Technology, Web and Game Programming, or Welding.
