Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for seniors graduating from a public high school in one of the Florida Parishes in Louisiana: East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Livingston, St. Helena, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Washington, or West Feliciana. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a 2.7 cumulative GPA and have been accepted into a university or college as a full-time student. Four awards will be granted - two of the scholarships will be a one-time award; the other two will be recurring scholarships. Applications will be evaluated based on the following: financial need, ACT or SAT scores, evidence of leadership potential as displayed in extracurricular activities, community service and achievements/honors; quality and depth of essay; and quality of academic and personal recommendations.
