Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for high school seniors who participate in cross-country or track. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must reside within the 11-county Twin Cities metro area: Anoka, Carver, Chisago, Dakota, Hennepin, Isanti, Ramsey, Scott, Sherburne, Washington, and Wright. Student athletes of all abilities are encouraged to apply, but applicants must have participated in cross country and/or track. Applicants must have a current cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 or above. Successful scholarship candidates should demonstrate the following: quality academic performance shown through a combination of grades and level of difficulty of curriculum; leadership in their school or peer group; sincere commitment to some form of community service or helping others; and maximization of their running potential. Scholarship applications will be available January 2, 2013.
