This scholarship is for students enrolled full-time at one of Virginia's community colleges and majoring in a science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) field. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be interested in pursuing a career that supports NASA's mission, including careers in the aerospace sector. Applicants must be US citizens, have a GPA of at least 3.0, have completed at least one semester of course work at the time of application, and expect to graduate by May 2015 or later. Applicants must apply during their freshman year of community college for an award that will begin in the sophomore year.
