Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for high school seniors in good standing attending a high school accredited by the Texas Education Agency. Applicants must also be located in the greater Austin, Dallas, or Houston areas. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be members of a racial/ethnic group that has been historically underrepresented in the legal profession; have a strong high school record; demonstrate interest in working in a law firm setting; have financial need; be in the top 20% of their class; and have a minimum of 1650 SAT combined score or a minimum 24 ACT score. Applicants must have a valid Social Security Number and have US citizenship or residency in Houston, Dallas, Austin, or the surrounding areas for contiguous seven years.
