Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for graduates of Franklin High School in Franklin, Pennsylvania; and/or the lineal descendants of Samuel Gordon or George DeWoody (pioneer settlers in Venango County). To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must attend college full-time in pursuit of a career in engineering, science, or mathematics. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must submit an essay of 250 words on how their education in engineering, science, or mathematics, will be of value to their community and country.
