Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for graduating seniors who are Chicana/Latina and attending a high school in California. To qualify for this scholarship applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and plan to attend a two-year, four-year, or technical college in the fall of 2013. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must submit a personal statement of no more than three pages in length, using 12-point font and double spaced response on the following topic: "Based on your community service experience, focus on one of the activities that you participated in and how it has allowed you to grow both personally academically." Applicants must also include a resume (or a list of activities, organization, community service, etc., in which they have participated).
