This scholarship is for high school seniors who live in Great Barrington, Richmond, West Stockbridge, or Stockbridge, Massachusetts. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must plan to pursue post-secondary studies in a career that will ultimately benefit the community where the student lives, such as agriculture, conservation, the environment, nursing, or teaching. Applicants must also demonstrate financial need. Selection for this scholarship will be based on academic standing, financial need, significant evidence of a contribution to society during high school (volunteer work, leadership in school activities, etc.), ambition to achieve life and academic goals, and enrollment in a post-secondary institution.
