Wildcat Cliffs Country Club Employee Scholarship

Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for high school seniors and graduates who are employees of Wildcat Cliffs Country Club in Highlands, North Carolina. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be employed full-time (at least 30 hours per week) with the club as of the date of the award and be in at least their second season of employment with the club. Recipients must attend an accredited post-high school, nonprofit undergraduate educational program to include vocational and technical schools as well as two- and four-year colleges, either public or private, within the United States. Applicants will be evaluated on the following, in order of importance: academic achievement/potential, work ethic, character, community service, extracurricular activities, leadership skills, work experience, and financial need. If equally qualified applicants apply, preference will be given to students who are enrolled in college for fall term and have a financial aid application pending with the school. The amount of the award will depend on the type of schooling, with full-time four-year degree students receiving $3,000, full-time community college students receiving $1,500, and part-time students receiving $800.
