Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for students attending Texas high schools that are sponsoring at least two blood drives for The Blood Center of Central Texas during the 2012-2013 school year. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be high school seniors with a cumulative 2.5 GPA or higher and attend a higher education institution after graduation. Applicants must have donated blood and/or participated in the school's blood drives hosted by the Blood Center of Central Texas. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must submit a either a video production or essay centered on the theme, "I give blood because..." or "Why blood donations are important." Applicants must be US citizens or legal permanent residents.
