This scholarship is for graduating seniors who reside in the Zeeland Public School District in Michigan. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be planning to enroll in a two- or four-year accredited college, university, or vocational/technical school. Scholarships will be awarded based on academic achievement as demonstrated by high school GPA, priority may be given to students who have demonstrated significant academic improvement over the course of their high school careers; and strong record of volunteer service and community involvement consistent with the Zeeland Rotary’s value of “Service Above Self”. Financial need is a consideration, but not an absolute requirement. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must respond to the following essay question: "High school prepares you for college and a career but not necessarily for life. What else in your experience has prepared you for a life you want? How so?"
