This scholarship is for women of age 16 through 19 as of April 1 of each year, studying and living, or working in a Zonta district/region. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must demonstrate a commitment to leadership in public policy, government, and volunteer organizations. Applicants also must demonstrate evidence of the following: active commitment to volunteerism; experience in local or student government; volunteer leadership achievements; knowledge of Zonta International and its programs; and advocating in Zonta International's mission of advancing the status of women worldwide. Application deadlines vary by club; contact your local Zonta club for more details. The 2013 recipients will be chosen by July 1, 2013.
