About College Greenlight
Mission Statement
College Greenlight unites a collective of educational advocates to increase college access and completion for historically underserved students. We support two large and important audiences, the nationwide college access community (CBOs) and higher education enrollment professionals, and work to bring these communities together to foster collaboration and advance equity & access in education.
For Counselors & CBOs
With 1,000+ nonprofit CBOs, government-funded programs, and high schools in our directory, College Greenlight is the nation’s largest community of professionals supporting and recruiting first-generation, lower-income, and historically underserved students. Everything we do is free for our counselor community and their students and families.
Free resource for counselors:
- College & scholarship search – Organizational partners get a unique link to utilize Appily.com for their students’ college and scholarship search
- Advising resources – We publish articles, infographics, databases, and other resources to support you and your team in educating your students.
- Training and Events – We host expert-led webinars, demonstrations, and networking events for our counselor community.
- Increased visibility with universities – Create a CBO profile to highlight your organization to our 400+ partner colleges and universities.

College Greenlight partners with institutions to diversify their campus communities and help them achieve important institutional goals.
Our colleges and universities leverage College Greenlight to:
- Expand their reach and showcase their institution to new groups of students
- Partner with CBO's and other advocacy networks to foster new student pipelines
- Highlight and promote important diversity initiatives to students and their advocates
- Enable recruitment staff to advance equity in recruitment and make more inclusive decisions through staff training and professional development.
