Great school if you are looking for a small, faith-based institution and are very interested in a career in healthcare. Staff and faculty treat you as a individual and are always willing to help. Academics are generally strict in this school. Workload is and can get very intense. However, the teachers here care about your success. Even going to tutoring is heavily encouraged by most students and teachers and is never looked down upon. Be mindful that scholarships for this school are often scarce, therefore paying for this school can become challenging. The "college experience" is very different from what you would expect from a public/state college. Nonetheless, it is a great one-of-a-kind experience that will help you grow as a person. Even though they lack in offering different types of clubs in the school (aside from the degree-based clubs such as, Pre-therapy club, Pre-Med club, etc.), the school always plans days where they will organize different activities for their students. Lots of volunteer opportunities offered here as well as chances to get your clinical hours completed. The school is right beside Florida Hospital, opening doors of opportunities to provide jobs for students. This is perfect for those who are serious about becoming a healthcare profession, as they get the chance to work in a hospital. The ethics and principles that are taught in this school, proudly reflect the healing characteristics of Jesus; teachers make sure to focus not only on academics, but also towards providing service to the community. This university has its pros and cons, but overall, this institution provides many opportunities that allow you to further yourself and get ahead.

You need to be comfortable with prayer and reading the bible as part of class. Plan on living very close to campus, as it is not a commuter friendly area. If you prefer online classes, this school is not for you. If you tend to be late for class or miss classes from time to time, this school is not for you. If you are a very diligent student who loves to learn and you want to work very hard and learn a lot, this school is for you!

Listen to your academic advisors because they know how to direct you. Seek to make friends with students that are really interested in learning. Make very good use of all the resources that the school has to offer.
