I have visited this college on a field trip. I liked it so much and I wish and hope I can attend this college. It's so welcoming and such a safe resort place. The people and Staff are very welcoming. I can see this college in my future.

Over the years the dining hall has improved with their menu. Of course to treat the necessity of people who are not a fan of pork or beef, a vegetarian/vegan bar is provided on a daily. With that option being available, everyone else still has the decision to choose from various types of meat like fish, pork, poultry, and beef. With the newest installation to the union with the food court, which hosts proprietors like Subway and Herchel's, the dining experience at Alabama State is even greater. The vast choice of handmade sandwiches and pan pizzas really allows the students to keep coming back for more.

The food and dining is always neat and clean. The service is great and the staff are always smiling and making you feel welcomed. The food is freshly made in front of the students so you can see what is on the menu for the day. Often there is events in the cafeteria which gives the students a chance to interact and meet new students that they might not see everyday or in their classes.

I am a commuter. During my commute I usually pick up breakfast or lunch, but the few times i have eaten on campus have not been awful. there are three shops to purchase food outside of the cafeteria, two of which are locally based in Montgomery and the other is Subway. The prices for the servings are great especially for a college student on a budget.

We have one café and many places to choose from located in the student center. Many students go to the student center when they do not feel like having café food.

I Love the Greeks here at Alabama State University. its always nice seeing them step at Greek shows, probates, on campus, and in the café. They do way more than step. Most of the Greeks give back to the community in a major way.

The greek life on campus is very hype. Although many of the sorority's and fraternity's don't stay on campus, you are well aware when they do arrive. They are always blasting music and strolling in the middle of the campus to attract potential recruits. It is very exciting to think about being apart of a sisterhood or a brotherhood.
