For all the perspective students my best advice to you would be get involved inside and outside of the classroom. if you want a school located in a city with a lot to do, alfred isn't going to be like that. be prepared for practical exams where you show your professors you are learning skills not just information. it is an easy adjustment for most because the campus is small and there is a lot to do during welcome week. college is fun but this isn't high school so be prepared to work hard and study if you want to make good grades.
