    Study; Alma is difficult, but you can succeed if you study. Become involved in anything that may interest you in the slightest; it will open your eyes to new friends. Don't be afraid to ask your professor for help; most of them are very easy to approach.

    Alma requires a lot more work than most colleges. My friends that attend Michigan State and Central Michigan average about an hour of homework a night where as I average 3. Also do not be afraid to talk to teachers, one time I went in for help and a teacher raised my grade for that reason.
