I would advise you to not go there. Transfer as fast as you can. Not a high post employment rate.

Alverno College creates a student-focused classroom setting that encourages communication and teamwork. The non-grading system and small class sizes allow students exclusive access that is seen rarely at other institutions. Alverno College creates an atmosphere that engages and provides students with real world issues so that they are prepared upon graduation.

So far the nursing program is disappointing. My teachers are terrible, they keep telling us we're a test group for everything we do and they are never prepared. Right now, one of my classes is being taught by an unsupervised student teacher in her Masters program. She doesn't know anything and constantly teaches us the wrong way to do our skills.

Alverno is diverse, open-minded, and extremely liberal. I have never experienced judgement from a single professor, administrator, staff member, nor student. Growth in knowledge is priority number one.
