The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles opened in 1974, a sister campus to the original New York one founded in 1884. The institution confers Associate degrees (through their 2-year Conservatory Program), at the end of which students can audition for The Academy Company. They also have academic partnerships for completion of a bachelor’s degree.
