A tip that I wish people told me before I started college at Arcadia University would be to make sure to study many many hours, exams are killers here. Another tip would be to go outside more often. There are so many open minded students at Arcadia and just going out and hanging out in the game room or in the commons area and talking to random people can start amazing friendships. New friends aren't just going to show up in your dorm room!

The Common Application was quick, easy, and free for this college. I was even provided with a scholarship for my application, but remember to apply early on! I believe that's half the reason I got the scholarship in the first place.

Definitely come in for an open house. It gives you a lot of information that you wouldn't get otherwise. Take the advice of the admissions counselors, too. They're really wonderful people and they want to make sure you're prepared when you apply.

Ask questions, and get into the games ad activities they do! It gives you that nice encounter into the Arcadia spirit. Take the tours millions of times, because you'll find something new there every time.

Expect some majors to have heavy work loads and requirements. Also, be prepared to have to complete a lot of college curriculum requirements. Don't be alarmed, though, because one class can fill multiple places in the curriculum. Also take advantage of going abroad!
