Tuition wasn't a problem for me because I got a good scholarship, but if you're out of state you'll want to get your ACT/SAT score up to get a good scholarship. Barrett dorm prices are high, though. Otherwise, ASU isn't as costly as other colleges around. The classes are pretty good and campus has lots of resources and events.

ASU does charge for services that everyone might not use. For example, there is a mandatory athletics fee that all students must pay. This fee gives you access to all ASU athletic events, but for someone who does not plan on attending any events this fee is just ridiculous. Also, if you plan on parking on campus the cheapest parking permit is at least $200 and is located very far from the campus so riding the bus is required.
