Make sure you talk too your advisers thoroughly and ask them questions on anything you are concerned about. Walk around the campus and explore because you might get lost if you don't know where you're going, but the campus is small enough to where you won't ever be too far away from wherever you're trying to get to.

For those people coming into this school. you will love t. i would advise you to do things to get to know everyone on campus. such as intramurals and Greek life if you are a social person.

Stay on top of your financial aid!! I have been through a trial every sememster due to simple and overlooked mistakes. I would also recommend seeing more than one advisor. Not all of them provide to you the options available to you.

Personally, Armstrong wasn't for me. However, I know very many people that love it here. I'm transferring to a larger university after this(my sophomore) year. The Greek Life is barely existent and is VERY clique-y. The small class sizes are a plus, however. It lets you have a more personal relationship with your professors as well as classmates. The campus is very VERY small, which has its ups and downs. If you live on campus, it doesn't take more than ten minutes to walk from one end of the campus to the other. However, it does feel small. Personally, I need a change of scenery when I study every once and a while, and there are only a few places that I can study since the campus is so small. Overall, it wasn't the worst experience, but it also wasn't the greatest. I cherish the friendships I've made here, and I love my professors, but if I had the chance to start at a different school, I wouldn't hesitate.
