There are a few opportunities that help students save money. Many businesses and restaurants have discounts for Auburn students. For example, Mamma Goldberg's has a great deal for students. Also, many bookstores have discounts for students.

Auburn is expensive for us out of state kids, but we have an awesome rec center, stadium and buildings, not to mention our beautiful campus. It's worth it. Many opportunities.

As an out of state student, I am paying around $45,000 a year. If you don't want to have a ton of student debt, I wouldn't recommend attending if you are an out of state student. Auburn is an amazing school and I feel as though I am getting the experience I wanted, but for those of you who are in doubt of the price, look elsewhere first.

Auburn University does cost a lot, but is definitely worth it. A new health and recreation center was just built on campus and is absolutely phenomenal. It has a suspended indoor running track which is one of the largest. We also have a free UPC Spring Concert every spring where they bring in a huge artist who gives a free concert. In the past we have had Needtobreathe, Train, and this year the Avett Brothers. As you can see, though it might be costly Auburn makes up for it in other ways all over campus.
