Great for these types of students Those who are open and socialble. It is a small school so you'll get to know more as you become more open.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus As a freshman you throw a penny in the fountain for good luck for the rest of the year.
Bang for the buck The price is a little high for the small amount of students but it is well worth it.
What to do for fun I love going to the mall and recently basketball games have been coming so we go to that whenever we van and also the activities that clubs have planned on campus.
Food and Dining I don't eat at school. I grocery shop and cook myself.
Dorm Life I have met some of my best friends in the random search for roommates. The people who work here are awesome and it is very roomy for everyone.
Academic Rigor It's not as challenging as I imagined. However, the honor courses are challenging and put you to your limits sometimes.
Tips for prospective students Get to class early. You don't want to be last to class and interrupt because your late. Also study and don't party. You're grades will reflect.
In three sentences I enjoy the small feel campus. You're not just a number here you're a person. It's beautiful and everyone is friendly.

In three sentences GRU offers one of the few physician assistant programs in the state of Georgia, so I am researching and hoping to apply for this next cycle. I am nervous because I have applied before and got rejected but I am hopeful for this next time around. Any tips?

Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus NA I lived off campus and pursued this degree through distance learning.
Bang for the buck The cost is high but unfortunately this is reflective of the state of Georgia more than of Georgia Regents University itself.
What to do for fun NA I lived off campus and pursued this degree through distance learning.
Food and Dining NA I lived off campus and pursued this degree through distance learning.
Dorm Life NA I lived off campus and pursued this degree through distance learning.
Academic Rigor The exams are hard and the amount of knowledge you learn in your first year is enormous but the material is available and the tests are reflective of what is taught. Plan to spend a lot of time studying.

Categories Comments Campus Safety Only there to give parking tickets
Greek Life A joke
Clubs and Activities Many clubs
Bang for the buck Worth it at the medical campus not at the Summerville. Pay a little more for somewhere else.
What to do for fun There is nothing there to do for fun have to leave campus
Food and Dining Have a small food court but not very good food and it's too expensive
Dorm Life None
Academic Rigor Grades don't seem to matter as much as them harassing you too take more classes than you can handle to get you out faster.
Tips for prospective students If you can get into UGA or Georgia Southern go there.
In three sentences Ever since Augusta State University and Georgia Health Sciences University merged the school really does not seem to care about the students. Tuition and fees keeping going up but the quality of education at the Summerville campus keeps going down as off the students the are not as important as the ones at the medical college.

What to do for fun Tour around Augusta... enjoy the beautiful scenery, the well-aged campus, and do some golfing!
Tips for prospective students Apply to this school and contact an adviser, although caution they may get to you first. Everyone I have encountered at the school was superbly helpful and attentive. There is a reason this school has been around since the late 1800's.
In three sentences While currently attending Georgia Health Sciences University (now known as Georgia Regents University), I can that I am more satisfied with the professors, education, and knowledge gained from this university than I anticipated. Previously I had mediocre satisfaction with college but this school, especially their Allied Health department, has exceeded my expectations. This is an amazing school with a lot to offer!
