    Get your feet wet. Do everything you have time for. It might seem like a good idea to hit the books nonstop, but doing that, you'll miss out on the wonderful community here and the opportunities this place can give you.

    Don't procrastinate work. This is the most sure fire way to do poorly here, and don't go out partying every night, remember that this is still a school and you do have classes every day. Make sure you go to class, because theres usually an attendance or participation grade.
