This is not a place to go if you're into nightlife. While there are bars that you can reach from campus, they are few and far between, and Muncie, Indiana isn't exactly a hub of activity for a fun time out. However, if you are interested in on-campus events, you will never run out of things to do!

Muncie has a local Mall and Cinema, which is always fun. They also have plenty of places to go out to eat. For those who are 21, Brothers Bar and Grill is a fun place to hang out. Ball State also offers many events with fun activities and free food.

There is a lot to do for fun, but I personally have found it hard to get involved because I commute everyday.

They are really big on sports, from what I could tell, so if that's your thing, you'd be in good company. They also have club sports for those who want to participate but aren't on their Division I teams. There's apparently a mall nearby, and even if you don't have a car to get you around Muncie, they have shuttles that you can take.

There is an activity on campus at least every other day and every weekend. There are over 400 groups, so you will find your niche.

There is a lot of stuff to do for fun on and off campus. I'll focus on on campus for this review. There is a thing called Late Night every Saturday that's free for Ball State students. It is a huge party on campus and it is so much fun. There's usually free food and a TON of other things to do like putt putt, bowling, escape rooms, karaoke, bubble soccer, DIY projects, video games, face painting, mechanical surfing, it just varies from week to week there is always something new. There is a state-of-the-art Rec center with great equipment but you can also go there to play ping-pong, indoor soccer, swim, there's even a rock climbing wall. There is always something going on on campus. Always. It is easy to get involved. There are so many organizations that you can join and everyone is so welcoming! Some cost money to join but others are 100% free. Many halls will host game nights and other things. There's usually outside bonfires and stuff when the weather is nice, oh and outdoor movies as well. If the weather isn't nice there is a movie theatre that shows current movies on Friday nights for free. There's also a free art museum and planetarium shows on campus if you like that sort of thing. I could go on and on about all the different things there are to do. It's great!

I was apart of the Ball State Code Red Dance Team so I always loved to attend sporting events even the ones I was not dancing at. The atmosphere and school spirit at the events was always exciting and fun. During Welcome week and Homecoming week so many activities are going on that you have tons of choices of fun things to do. I always enjoyed going to school musicals and plays put on by your fellow Performing Arts majors. They offer tons of intramural sports that lots of people get involved in. While living in the dorms the RA's always make plans for the dorm as a whole or your floor to attend different events or just to go to dinner together, its a great way to meet more people and get involved.

There is always fun to be had. Ball State has many affordable or free cultural events. There is a lovely art museum on campus. As a college student you are hopefully able to demonstrate some creativity as you find wholesome ways to spend your time.

The main thing there is to do for fun is Late Night which happens every Saturday night. There are different themes every time and they have different activities like face painting, bowling, movies, and special activities that change each time.
