    make sure you get a real advisor, i suggest mrs. deborah. some of the others have led students down the wrong academic paths and prolonged their time at brcc. always look on rate my professor before scheduling any math or science classes. there are some really great professors in those disciplines but also some overly difficult ones. all of the buildings on the main campus are all close together so don't be afraid to schedule back to back classes and get out of campus early before traffic, which in baton rouge gets bad around 2:00 in the afternoon. this school is great for students that have work or other obligations during the week because they offer several early morning, late evening, and saturday classes.

    If you plan on attending Baton Rouge Community College, please enroll early so you are not waiting a long lines for enrollment services or financial aid. Always wait until after the first day of class to purchase your text book as some instructor don't use the book. Stay involved in student life on the campus.
