Tour around town! Go to the Zoo or one of the many Waco museums. Go to common grounds, Dichotomy, or Pokey-os. Shopping at spice village is great fun. There are lots of great local places to volunteer including schools, hospitals, Zoos, Museums, and homeless shelters. Join a club or a sport.

There are plenty of activities on and off campus to do for fun! There's sporting events (free admission to all Baylor students), Dr. Pepper Hour, where free Dr.Pepper and vanilla ice cream floats are given out to students, frisbee golf, running trails, hammocking, tennis courts, bowling, and so much more! Of campus, there are plenty of local joints to hit up such as Dichotomy, a popular local coffee shop, and of course, Magnolia Farms as seen on HGTV's Fixer Upper!

There are libraries all around the campus (I'm a nerd), as well as a bowling alley, food areas, and various lounges for different organizations and residential halls.

Baylor has Dr. pepper hour every Thursday. This is Baylor tradition. You can enjoy the ice creams and of course Dr. pepper drinks there. Also, Baylor have "Big Event" at the beginning of the semester, which is really exciting!! Some other activities such as Parades and FOOTBALL GAMES occur during the whole semester.

Waco and Baylor form am amazing community. There is Cameron Park, which is gorgeous in the spring, as well as movie theaters and the usual things around Waco. There's also a bowling alley and game room on campus in the student union building. There are countless places to eat in Waco and there's a couple square blocks with fast food places galore, including Torchy's Tacos.

waco may not be as large of a town as houston but it still has a lot to offer. common grounds and cafe capp are fun spots to grab a bite and hang out with friends without going far off campus. with the hot texas weather, a good place to cool down is the bsr cable park which is a water sports facility with a lazy river and huge water slides. lake waco is another place to cool off. if that's not your scene, there is also the dr. pepper museum, cameron park zoo, texas sports hall of fame, bear habitat.
