Belhaven has different varieties of food, some that may be new to a lot of people. They have a wide variety of Blue Bell ice cream which is awesome.

I enjoy spending time in the cafeteria because that is our place to relax and socialize while eating. Although it gets crowded fast, Fried Chicken Thursday and Friday Fish Friday is well worth it! On some Thursdays, they bring the chicken out to socialize and take pictures. We have a variety of alternative options if we do not like the food at the main stations. At all times, sandwiches, cereal, and ice-cream is provided. Once or twice a month, we do have themed days were we show cultural appreciation by inspired countries and students. Love those days because you try new stuff for FREE (well, in your meal plan)!

Alas, Belhaven fails in this area. Because it is such a small school the cafeteria usually only has two entree options, and one of those is often a mystery casserole. The salad bar is fine but sometimes lacking in the fresh department. The one area Belhaven rules is the ice-cream department. Every night they have at least five flavors of delicious, Blue-Bell ice-cream.

I honestly love food and trying out new staff that is what I love most. So food shouldn't be much of a challenge for me.

There are no fraternities and sororities at Belhaven. However some of the club are Greek oriented. In addition, if you want to do Greek life the surrounding colleges have chapters that they will allow you to join during their rush.
