    Go to preview days if you can. There you can meet professors of every discipline and see the culture of the school. Also try to attend a basketball game because they're so much fun!

    I would highly recommend looking into joining a club, organization, or volunteering for school and non-school related events. I find that that is the best way to meet other students and also expose yourself to the different type of work ethics involved with the events.
