With Bennett being a liberal arts institution, I know the education I am receiving allows me the freedom to explore other majors and interest such as acting or painting and not feel claustrophobic within my own major. Bennett’s curriculum forces you to think outside the box by making classes such as philosophy apart of the general education requirement. It also has specialized programs such as Aces where they invite speakers to bless us with their wisdom and insight into their profession. In all the education is well round and the teachers are truly dedicate to your success if you are...

Bennett is trash PERIOD !!! I would wish this school on my worse enemy. There’s a lot of bs going on at Bennett. Don’t let a tornado hit or snow then they’ll feed you a snack. A lot of the girls are jealous of what you have. There’s not a full time doctor on campus or nurse. The food is horrible I’ve lost 10 pounds from the stuff they feed us. Don’t expect a “sisterhood” here all Bennett girls do is fight with each other over the simplest things. Upperclassmen will get mad when you say there no sisterhood because the campus isn’t loving nor welcoming. Over half of the girls transfer there first year that’s why you won’t see a lot of upperclassmen.

Bennett is trash tbh... there’s roaches in honors and player. Also you’ll be starving campus because of unreasonable cafe hours like how tf eats dinner from 4:30-6:30. On the weekends it’s even worse the cafe is open from 9:30-1:30 and dinner is from 4:30-6:00. Also very limited vegan and vegetarian option they just throw things together when it comes to people with special diet needs. I also got food poisoning from the shrimp that they cooked a while back and so did a lot of the other girls because they don’t clean the shrimp. Another girl had a allergic reaction because they cooked the fries in the left over fish grease and she’s allergic to seafood. If you’re hear for a sisterhood good luck because all the girls do is through shade at each other and no one supports each other’s events on campus that’s why they don’t have any on Saturday and Sundays. The reverend on campus doesn’t do her job like they did back in the day she’s doesn’t know a lot of the girls names and she doesn’t help us with issues that some of us are having with others. Bennett gives good financial aid but is not worth the experience that is why you won’t see a lot of upperclassmen on campus because they end up transferring to A&T or some of the surrounding areas. Theyre also stuck on the fact that the Bennett women came up with the sit downs in Greensboro but was scared to act on it so Aggie 4 got all of the recognition for their heroic efforts in the black community. Also they’re really mad at Spelman for thinking that they are sisters to the Morehouse men but yet doesn’t communicate to Morehouse or out any effort to their brother school. (They do one trip and that’s during homecoming that’s it ) They were supposed to come to our homecoming but never showed up because apparently they haven’t been out campus in years which was very disappointing. Also the cafe workers have girlfriends on campus or “buddies” which is very unprofessional. Some of the girls pay the cafe workers money to get the alcohol because they are underage. Bennett does not have blue lights on campus which makes it scary when walking back when late because sometimes you’ll see outside men on campus. They tend to blame the girls for feeling unsafe because we sometimes want guys on campus(but not at 3 am and if so they shouldn’t be predators stop blaming women). Also the chapel bricks are unsafe two girls fell in the rain did to the bricks being ineven. Bennett also didn’t not want some of the girls to show support to Morehouse during their sexual assault allegations due to the fact they they were doing a deal with Morehouse at the time.they didn’t want the money to do away because Bennett is 3 million dollars in debt. Bennett also has a obese gym teacher who can not touch her toes or bend her knees but grades you how well you preform.... she doesn’t need to be at the college if she can’t be a real gym teacher. Also Bennett has a pool but the pool director died so the pool is currently collecting dust just like the rest of the buildings. Oh and there’s not a full time doctor on campus she volunteers Tuesdays and Thursdays EARLY morning from 8:45-10:45 if you need her any other times you have to go to the hospital they have a nurse but she quit because she wasn’t getting paid enough. I DO NOT recommend coming to Bennett. If I could recieve my time back I would.

Bennett College teaches its students how to persevere, how to really fight for what you want. Bennett also really enforces sisterhood and you wouldn't have to search for it. Bennett College is very unique and you'll grow to love it.

Bennett College is a very small college. There is not a lot of resources and the girls are very disrespectful. The school is also in debt and the tuition is rising.

While Bennett may have its faults, it truly believes in its mission of furthering young black women and women of color. At this school you will meet incredible, dynamic, successful, friendly black women who are always ready to help and encourage you on any endeavor you choose. The opportunities that have been opened to me as a black female business major at Bennett have been unrivaled, and I am now working on presenting my first business plan to the small business bureau in NC!

Bennett college is NOT the best college and it's not how they make it out to be . They like to trick people & during the tours tell them all lies and when you get there you will see it's nothing they said . The school is cheap and the service is poor .

On a scale of 1-10 Bennett deserves an eight. I think they're organizes well, but off with handling some things in a management time. Other then that Bennett is GREAT.
