    Embrace and be grateful everyday for being part of the Berklee Community. Get to know the teachers as much as you can. Participate as much as you can inside school. Be friendly and make friends from different parts of the world. You never know where life would take you.

    Save up as much as you can. Berklee is so expensive, and so is Boston. The cost of living here is outrageous. Many students are forced to leave after a semester or two because of the high costs.

    Take a step back, your first semester is incredibly overwhelming, but don't be afraid to try new things that scare you, that is the college experience. Also, that ear training practice everyday really pays off, ear training isn't something you can cram for.
