Boricua College
Founded with an emphasis on serving a Puerto Rican and Hispanic student body, Boricua College is a 4-year private institution in New York City with campuses in Washington Heights, The Bronx, and Brooklyn. In addition to lecture style courses, Boricua offers a curriculum incorporating individualized instruction with faculty mentors, small group colloquia, and experiential studies with scientists and artists. Students are also encouraged to participate in internships and apprenticeships in their fields of study during their junior and senior years. Outside of the classroom and fieldwork, Boricua students further explore Puerto Rican and Latinx culture through groups such as the Boricua College Chorus and events like the Puerto Rican Folk Art Festival.
