Bowie State is a reasonable priced institution. The campus is small but the sense of family is big, the education is not horrible, and the parties are something that you do not want to miss. Its an inexpensive university that is better than going to a community college.

It is a cheap school compared to other schools, and the teachers know their course material. I would say it was worth the money, but it is fairly unorganized, the school as a whole.

Bowie State is host to many different cultures and eccentricities. All of which are received with equal acceptance and kinship. Being a historically black college the demographic favors black students but the university and its staff are inviting to all.

Bowie State University is a really affordable school. Most of the students are commuters, so that cuts down the cost of living in the dorms or apartments on campus. BSU also has good meal plans and a career center that will help you look for scholarships and grants (the financial aid office helps as well). Tuition costs are low compared to schools in the area.

I feel collage is how you make it. You can still have fun and be serious in your studies. College is a great learning experience in the classroom as well as from your peers. Stay focus and don't forget the main reason for attending college, to get an education!
