What Students Are Saying

Academics at BGSU are very challenging and competitive for students. BGSU students, faculty and staff take pride in their academics and strive to produce nothing less than greatness. Their are many programs for students to get tutors in math, reading writing and just about any subject you can think of. I love this because there is an unlimited supply of help for students who have difficulty with their classes. There is the library, the learniing commons and the writing and math center.

So far the academics are challenging but not impossible. I would say that they are the perfect amount of course load for students.
Manda from Martins Ferry, OH
the professors are great and there are a ton of classes to choose from. (remember, this is college, meaning you will get out of it what you put into it.) i would highly recommend taking some random classes just because they sound interesting even if they don't pertain to your major; it all adds to the experience. there will always be professors you don't really agree with, but overall, they are very knowledgeable and work hard to help you understand the material if you put the effort into it.
