i am out of state and it isn't too expensive to live on campus however the housing off campus is a lot cheaper. there are many organizations that will feed you at their meetings so go to those meetings. made a budget and stick with it, otherwise you'll end up staving.

Bowling Green State University is on the cheaper end of other colleges I considered attending. Also the school had my major, marine biology and offered me the most scholarship money. I definitely feel like I made the right choice with Bowling Green because I am getting a great education at cheaper than other schools in Ohio.

Tuition at BGSU is very low, especially compared to other universities. I do not feel, however, that I am getting a worse education because of the cost. I actually have felt like I have received an excellent education and have had the most knowledgeable professors who are passionate about what they are teaching.

Bowling Green offers more than I ever thought it would. There's an on campus medical center if you ever aren't feeling well. The library offers so many awesome things as well. If you just need to talk to someone, there are counselors and psychologists available for you to talk to for free! There are video and sound recording devices you can rent, bikes you can use, TV's everywhere, along with plugs for laptops and phones. The Rec center is currently being amazingly updated and I am so monumentally excited for when that is done later in 2014. BG has so much to offer, it really is worth the money you put in.
