Nursing is both an art and a science. Nursing requires compassion, clinical knowledge, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The curriculum in the Associate's degree program addresses nursing values, the nursing process, health promotion and maintenance, nursing roles, therapeutic communication skills and competent nursing care.
Graduates of this program are eligible to apply for and take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX®) for licensure as a registered nurse.
